I bought this for my wife and it's her first vibrator of the kind as she usually prefers "air pulse" or more subtle vibrating devices and after a few sessions it's been a great success. The shaft part is probably the more intense and effective but the vibration adds just enough clitoral stimulation to increase the overall effect of the device. When it comes to noise maybe it is a bit noisier than what we're used to but I don't think it'll wake anyone up in the neighbouring rooms; chances are the sounds of enjoyment will make more noise than the device itself.
